Dr. Dal Janda grew up in Abbotsford, he attended Rick Hansen Secondary School before moving to Surrey during his late high school years.
Dr. Janda Started his journey in dentistry in 2008 with achieving his dental hygiene diploma from the Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene in 2009, while working as a full time dental hygienist in rural community in 100 Mile House, BC he went on to complete his Degree in Bachelor of Dental Science (Dental Hygiene) at the University of British Columbia in 2013. With his further excitement in dentistry Dr. Janda attended Griffith University in sunny Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia from 2017 to 2021. He graduated with high distinction in Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science & Master of Dentistry. Dr. Janda has received several awards among which area ‘Dean of Dentistry Commendation Medallion 2021’ and was placed on ‘Dean’s Honour List’ for all five years of his studies by achieving ‘Academic Excellence Award’.
He was elected as an International Student Representative in 2018. Dr. Janda was one of the highly complemented Student Dentists during his time with Queensland Health clinical outplacement due to his passion to help, kind, gentle and caring natured prevention oriented dental practice. He is also a valued member of the British Columbia Dental Association, the Canadian Dental Association and is in good standing with the College of Dental Surgeon of British Columbia.
Outside the office Dr. Janda loves spending quality time with his wife Gurp and daughter Alyza. You’ll find him working out at the gym, enjoys running, hiking and travelling. Mexico and Hawaii being his favourite travel spots.
