Born and raised in Vancouver, Dr. Mattu received his Bachelor of Science in biology from Queen’s University. After graduation, he moved to Dublin, Ireland, where he obtained his Bachelor of Dental Science in 2020 with the distinction of first-class honours. Dr. Mattu is constantly continuing his education to ensure he is up to date with the latest dental innovation.
Devoted to providing comprehensive treatment to his patients and maintaining beautiful and functional smiles, Dr. Mattu believes nothing is as good as your natural tooth. Prevention is a major focus! When treatment is necessary, he will take a minimally invasive approach by using modern techniques. Dr. Mattu aims to restore a compromised tooth to as close to its natural form as possible using the best materials available.
When not in the office, he enjoys going for runs, travelling, playing sports and spending time with his family and friends. Dr. Mattu is also kept busy with his dog Bo and cat Pekoe. For those who follow hockey, Dr. Mattu is a die-hard Toronto Maple Leaf’s fan and insists “this is their year” (every year…).
