Same-Day Emergency Dental Care in Abbotsford
Tooth pain rarely picks a convenient moment. It usually starts as something you can work around, and then it isn’t. If you’re hurting right now, give us a call. In most cases we can get you out of pain the same day.
What happens when you come in
First we deal with what’s hurting. That’s the priority, and nothing else happens until you’re comfortable.
After that, if you want, we’ll show you everything else we can see. Not to sell you treatment, but so you know where you stand. We’ll tell you what needs attention now, what can reasonably wait, and what we’d leave alone. What you do about any of it is your call, on your timeline and your budget.
We won’t pressure you, and we won’t assume our priorities are yours.
Signs you shouldn’t wait
- Pain when you bite down
- Sensitivity to hot, cold or sweet things that lingers afterwards
- Pain that starts on its own, especially at night
- A broken, chipped or knocked out tooth
- Swelling in the gum, jaw or face
- A lost filling or crown
Swelling that’s spreading, or that comes with a fever or trouble swallowing, needs urgent attention. Call us right away. If we’re closed, go to the hospital emergency department.
Why people call us in an emergency
We’ve looked after Abbotsford families since 1983. We open at 7:00am on weekdays, and someone answers the phone from 8:00am on Saturday, which is often exactly when a weekend toothache shows up. We’re on Marshall Road with parking at the door.
The office is more comfortable than you might expect. Personal televisions, chairs with a back massage feature, lip balm before we start. None of that matters as much as getting you out of pain, but it helps.
Please note we’re not a walk-in clinic. Call us first and we’ll find you a time, usually the same day.
How we work
We think a dentist’s job is to tell you the truth about your mouth, explain the options plainly, and respect whatever you decide.
So we’ll show you what we find and what each option involves, including doing nothing for now. We’ll be straight with you about cost. Then you choose, based on what matters to you and what you can afford, not on what we’d do in your position.
That’s how we’ve worked for forty years.
