Tsang Family Dentistry has looked after Abbotsford families since 1983, and we are accepting new patients. One office, one patient record, and general dentists who see every age: a toddler’s first look in the mirror, a teenager’s check-up, a parent’s filling and a grandparent’s denture, often in the same week and sometimes in the same hour.

One office for the whole family

Everyone in your family is on one record here. Your children’s charts, x-rays and treatment plans sit alongside yours, so whichever of our dentists you see has the whole picture. Let us know who is coming and we will do our best to put the appointments back to back, depending on what is open that day. Cleanings and check-ups are the backbone of it; you can read about what a check-up involves, and if the dentist makes anyone in the family anxious, sedation is something we plan for.

Children, from the first tooth

We see children from the time their first tooth comes in. The early visits are short and easy on purpose: a ride in the chair, a look, a count, and home. The point is for the office to feel ordinary long before anything needs doing. Our children’s dental care page covers teething, baby teeth, first visits and preventing bottle decay. Children under 18 can be covered under the Canadian Dental Care Plan, and our front desk is happy to explain how that works for your family.

Every dentist at Tsang Family Dentistry is a general dentist licensed to practise in British Columbia. Ask for one by name when you book, or let our front desk match you with whoever has the first opening that suits you. Meet all of our dentists, or read about each one:

Hours that fit around school and work

We open at 7:00 am Monday to Friday, so a check-up can happen before school or before work. We stay open until 7:00 pm Monday to Thursday and until 5:00 pm on Friday. On Saturday the doors and the phones open at 8:30 am and we close at 4:00 pm. Sunday we are closed. CDCP and direct billing

We are enrolled in the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) and see patients under it. We bill most dental plans directly, so you pay only your share at the desk, and our front desk is happy to confirm your plan before your first visit.

The languages we speak

We have team members who speak English, Punjabi, Hindi, Korean, Lao and Thai. If someone in your family is more comfortable in one of those languages, please let us know!

Where we are

We are at 33782 Marshall Road, inside the Abbotsford Dental Group building, a few minutes from Mill Lake Park. Parking is free, and the entrance and bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. Our contact page has the map and our hours.

Questions families ask

How old should my child be for a first visit? Bring them when the first tooth comes in. Nothing is usually done at that visit; it is about getting used to the place.

Does the CDCP cover children? Yes, children under 18 can be covered when the family qualifies. We are enrolled, and our front desk is happy to walk you through what applies to your family.

Can we all come in together? Let us know who is coming and we will do our best to fit you in back to back. It depends on what is open that day.

Can we be seen in a language other than English? We have team members who speak Punjabi, Hindi, Korean, Lao and Thai. Just let us know when you book and we will arrange it where we can.
